Well last week was the week Microsoft Internet Security , a campaign designed to train and educate people on different security aspects should be aware not to fall in computer fraud .
week activities aimed at different groups, including journalists, heads of security, ITPros, a special campaign for parents and children and a vaccination day in which I teach every attendee as free tools to use three keep your PC safe on the internet. Educational talks were given on basic Internet safety and answered all questions from the audience.
On the day of vaccination was supported by ITPros-DC, Bogotá Colombia ITPros and a group of academic Cell Neiva, who gave every effort to provide the best care assistants and machines. The result was excellent and was a clear example of how communities can work together to bring high quality events.
The tools used in that day were:
- WSUS: Update as server operating systems. MSBA
- : Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer is a tool that does a system scan, detects security problems and gives recommendations and steps to correct the problems.
- Malicious Software Removal Tool: A tool that searches the latest, most important and removes malicious software.
These three tools are known as the plan to protect your PC in 3 steps, which is part of Microsoft's campaign to train users and raise awareness of the range of products that are free and take advantage of software legal.
